Environment
There’s no sense in storing your valuable records in a standard warehouse. BrainCore
has custom-designed its facilities around security, speed and quality. Come
see the difference.
Clean, clean, clean
Our associates take pride in maintaining the integrity of your documents.
You will be impressed with the cleanliness of our operations. We maintain
immaculate pest control, as we never know what comes in with records from
other locations. Our associates are trained to recognize any combustible
or explosive agents in incoming materials. And we’re a Department
of Defense certified repository.
Taking care of your records
BrainCore takes pains to insure a long life for your records. Unlike many
records centers, we stack boxes only two high. Each standard records box
weighs approximately 35 pounds when packed. Should your records be subjected
to 70 or more pounds on top of them? Further, our internal climate is stable,
protecting your documents from extremes of light, heat, and humidity. We
both heat and air-condition, a rarity in our business.
Highest construction standards
The facilities are planned specifically for records management. We are located
outside the 100 year flood plain, without adjoining businesses. Our windowless
buildings are constructed of masonry, and have 18 inch sway beams to protect
against gale-force winds. We are also located in a seismically low activity
area, directly on bedrock.
Disaster Planning
BrainCore has carefully considered continuation of operations in case of
disaster. An on-site generator provides power. We are in an energy grid
separate from that of most of our clients. Our disaster plan is in place,
and our system backups are rotated to a facility far across the country.
Safety
You may wonder about the safety of your records in case of fire. BrainCore
places individually heat activated sprinkler heads in a dense pattern in
the racks. Our smoke beams catch any potential problem before it is even
visible. The repository contains serial fire walls which each seal off
automatically under fire conditions, limiting the spread of any mishap.
Our rack plans are on file with our local fire departments, and our central
monitoring system is directly connected to dispatch desks. You are welcome
to review the continual inspection records for all our fire safety systems.
Security
The facilities are protected by a Ready-key access system, which allows only
the required staff to enter various parts of the building. Closed-circuit
cameras provide both live (on-site and remotely accessible) and taped records.
Of course we use motion control detectors and a central monitoring station.
